In the past there has been the cultural influence/ clash of other national bands rising to the scene. However in America it has always been that if they don't speak the glorified langue they're not really worthy of consideration.
You might think I'm culturally misinformed and that in fact a large majority of Americans are culturally considerable of national talents. However not many of those talents are being represented in our media outlets as worthy of our time. That's understandable of us to not acknowledge national sources for talents, when they don't speak or propose ideas we can't fully understand yet we still shouldn't miss them all together.
South Americans ,Europeans,Asians gorge on our culture influence so much that they care to grasp it's complexities .American musicians have and always will be the great landmark of the free ,bohemian pop star embodiment. After taking from the another English based country ,England the mother country of nation infatuation with rock and roll (the Beatles) that changed us and the whole world taste in music.
The Beatles revolutionized America as they did with other countries, mainly European but they still had a great effect on music widely. That same influence has remained the same since the sixties. If music and culture is not flowing from the US its been thrown back from the UK and of course that weird occurrence of Canada. It's hard to take in consideration non regional culture if we have nothing to do with it yet if you do you will be more culturally informed and will know of artists no one knows about. Artists that are just as good than American artists but always different.
To start you off here's a few of my favorite nationals.
