Contemporary ,Young art wizards you should know about.

These young artist are the new wave of modern art , that still comes within their realm of personification .

It's art that is commercialized yet it very personal. Art that inspires yet it can be characterized as something for the greater masses.Some more pop art while some are more individualized.

Here are artist that redefine modern art out of its formal ,boring form.

Petra Collins 

Is an indie artist best known for her active feminist ,free sex oriented art .She has worked commercially,shooting for Urban Outfitters,Vice,Nylon Magazine,and the indie induced blog Rookie magazine and many others.Rookie magazine/blog was the place she first became aware to the masses.She often shoots her own friends,which include models,musicians and bloggers.

Esao Andrews

Is an illustration ,oil painter known for his surrealism ,dark style of painting.Many first come upon Andrews art, as the fan base of band Circa Survive.Circa Survive has used some of the most compelling art for their all their album art covers from the artist himself.His art holds some of the most mysterious art form can be thought of as strictly self oriented.Although many aspects and things, influence his work.When working for Circa Survive he used their music to construct his work.

Leif Podhajsky

I came upon his work through his work for Australian band Tame Impala.He himself specializes in creating album covers for many artist such as Foals,Lykke Li,The Horrors,Toy and many others.His graphic designs and alternated photographs have unique ,fragmented ,psychedelic spectrum which allure many of his clients.

Aela Labbe
Is a French ,photographer I recently came upon through Facebook.I myself was easily allured by her work.Her work is much personal ,you could compare her low focus ,dream like photos to early Greek ,19 neo-classicism century paintings.Her work carries a melancholic,isolation which depicts much emotion.Depiction of her artwork can not be identified with one word. Her work is a collision of raw holiness embodied in with celestial beauty.

Concert review: Christopher Owens

Last Tuesday ,June 9 at Club Dada in Dallas musician,songwriter Christopher performed to a small crowd.

 Opening band,Daniel Markham and his band played a well ,impeding show with transcending energy.Just elevating enough to start such a long awaited gig.They set a great awakening to tired,half flustered folks.

Daniel noticing the more than half empty room, remarked "have y'all ever been late to a show?",as to say where is the rest of the crowd.Markham's band played a great set with transitioning dynamic tunes to more passive induced tunes that drew to the mood of the crowd .With songs with long ,eccentric guitar solos ,that lasted minutes in counting.

Then around 10:30 P.M. everyone gathered back in by the stage in an eeriness and quiet anxious chatter.As Christopher Owens ,himself roamed around the venue and to the stage ,as they were setting up.

Finally they began their set after what seemed like 30 min of technical maneuvering.They began their set with a quick intro.Everyone was a big,body of anticipation ,anxious disbelief.

Owens opened with Girls's song ,"Heartbreaker", from album Broken Dreams Club.An amusing tune about lovers,that although in contrast to its theme has a high luring ,on beat sound.Then playing songs from newer ,now solo project like "Out of Bed",Selfish feelings,"Coffee and tea"and then alternating to old time favorites like Goddamned,Summertime ,Ghost Mouth, and in which I myself fought tears. The audience in stoic to a momentum that made peace with time and elevation of the mind.

 I myself have gathered the best music to enhance  the "mood", based on my personal playlist and opinion.

Jeff Buckley's everybody here wants you a tune so sensual, with an enchanting pace sure to get things going.
Buckley is known for his caressing,  seducing tunes that leave one soul aching.Such feeling of vast loneliness in search for compassion is sure to be the fulfillment of the mood.

Pj Harvey, oh yeah ! Favorite babe from the 90's aside Kim Gordon of course.Polly is a sex goddess herself.Her music enacts a sex drive in us all.  She is as sensual and alluring than anyone ,ever!

If you're a romantic type and wish to have a piece of music that is almost heavenly while you yourself seek heaven on Earth,with your lover.Listen to PJ Harvey's album White Chalk.
Oh and for all the sweet lovers this classic is a must Henry Lee.

Radiohead,yes you read that right.Although Radiohead would probably be last on your list to get in on to.With the sad misconceptions of labeling them under complaint rock .I find their music melancholy healing. Their record In Rainbows ,is sure to send you from a cloudy haze over a rainbow into a more serene scene in the midst of loving scene!

The XX   A new wave of pop, although their sound a genuinely has the same blend as most sex induced music of today.Their low soft,almost whisper vocals imply the assimilation much more.Also their song themes and titles make the topic more than obvious.Although I find both of their albums best suited for such phenomenon.

Purity Ring Ironic to their name the band itself is a perfect selection and final addition to this lovely list.To add to this claim I recall my best friend remark the first time I introduced her to the band.She said, "I love them , totally could get down to this if you know what I mean".

Austin's an ideal city for anyone who wants an in the city and nature friendly experience, at a city's round about.

Austin already a major city attraction,as it brings numerous tourist from all over .From its famous seasonal festivals which bring an abundant number of folks every year.To its pub/club invested renown and crowned Sixth Street.

Things to do while in Austin are extensive.You can go eat at it's many great restaurants or food trucks.Some of which are highly rated across the nation and state.I myself can say they're definitely some of the best foodies I have ever had.

Lucky Japanese Robot Kitchen on S Congress, is a lovely,very pop-Japanese inspired restaurant.
I had some of their most delicious,authentic,Asian  noodles.

Also Home-Slice Pizza also on S Congress. Home-Slice Pizza is known to be one of the nation's top rated pizza joints and one the city's  renown spots.A must try,you wont regret it.

Afterward you can grab a cold dessert.Lick offers the best ice-cream in town.It offers a variation of lactose-free and vegan choices to choose from.All choices made with organic candor.Nothing comes close to their authentic , home style ,creamy taste. Unique choices to choose from include Cilantro-lime,Goat Cheese,Thyme and Honey ,Texas au lait and many 
more.

You can go on a bike ride , or if you prefer going for a walk or hike in one of the city's lovely parks and trails.Walking and or hiking is one of the greatest advantages the city can accommodate you with as you get to take all in,deliberately.

Window shop

Another thing you can do while on your walk about in the gracious city is window shop!There's plenty of cute boutiques and art stores to shop around.There's a lot of touristic/souvenir oriented shops all around if you wish to buy a memoir of the great city.They also have a costume shop  called Lucy in Disguise. You can also find a crafty,vintage oriented book store suitable to subjects like art and religion,poetry, fiction and much more, located on S Congress Avenue.









Lastly go to around the city and take it all in , take shots all around as it is much to appreciated and worth recording.Since there's much art and life in every corner. Don't forget to visit the famous Graffiti Park in Castle Hills and snap away as you climb to the top of the castle like house.

Materials you'll need

1. Four or three metallic nail polishes of your choice,with darker and lighter color variations.
   

1. You'll need three or less toothpicks to help apply the polish once the base color  has been applied.

Now to get started

1. Fist you'll need a base metallic color. Preferably a dark,solid color.
   
2. Second pick another metallic color of your choice ,preferably a light,almost transparent color.Then use a toothpick to apply one base is completely dry.

   The polish should look flimsy,almost like it's melting.

   3. Apply another light metallic color on top or around the one recently applied.You don't have to wait for the previous color to dry especially if you want a messy ingrained look.
   
   

   Should look something like this.Let it be messy!

   4.Add your third metallic color.This should still be lighter hue than your base color.Apply it all around on top,around or where polish still needs to be applied on nail.

   Lastly it should look something like this.Very carefree yet pleasant. Second space art example look  Procedure: same as above example just try these variations of colors!
